Javier García is an entrepreneur, investor and independent consultant, investor in the field of Biotechnology. He is the Founder and General Partner of Columbus Venture Partners, a venture capital Fund in the Biotech Sector. Mr. García had a 25-year career at Eli Lilly and Company where he held executive positions in Business Development and Information Technology. He lived in the USA for more than 15 years.

Mr. García is a Board Member of Artax Biopharma, Bioncotech Therapeutics, Vivet Therapeutics, Aura Biosciencies, Viralgen Vector Core, and Asklepios Biopharmaceutical.

He is also the Founder of the Columbus Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting access to health technology for children with cancer and monogenic disorders.

He holds a Bachelor in Mathematics (Statistics and Operations Research) from Universidad Complutense of Madrid and an MBA from ICADE.
