OUR STORY
National Alliance for Hispanic Health
In 1973 as a result of the need for profound changes in mental health services, the Alliance was incorporated in Los Angeles as the Coalition of Spanish-Speaking Mental Health Organizations (COSSMHO). Since then the organization has grown and expanded to reflect the changing needs of the people and communities served.
Today, the National Alliance for Hispanic Health is the premier science-based and community-driven organization that focuses on the best health for all. Community-based members provide services to more than 15 million Hispanics throughout the U.S. every year and national organization members provide services to more than 100 million people annually.
